ICMM
The Center of Reference for Education on IHL and Ethics is mandated by the International Committee of Military Medicine (ICMM), and its chairman is elected by the General Assembly of the ICMM.
Swiss Armed Forces - Medical Services Direcorate
Since 1999, Swiss Armed Forces (and more concretely their Medical Services Directorate) have cooperated with the ICMM in organizing courses for medical officers to teach them the relevant regulations of International Humanitarian Law.
Zurich Center for Military Medical Ethics
The third partner of the Reference Centre is the Center for Military Medical Ethics based in Zurich. It contributes both to the research efforts and also to the development and realization of the teaching.
